All you need to do is to define your custom keyboard shortcuts. I mostly use Add Edit to All Tracks to cut all tracks at once and the default shortcut to this is CTRL+SHIFT+K which usually needs two hands to apply. Instead, I defined a single key (E in my case) that helps me to reduce the hand movement, and that results in less time required. Similarly, another option is Ripple Delete to delete selected tracks and bring the next tracks attached to previous tracks. Ripple Delete's default shortcut is Shift+Del, again this one also needs two hands to apply so instead, I defined R which is adjacent to E. You can imagine how Fast I can edit and now so you can. I've recorded two clips using two different microphones that have 2 different input gains. One microphone with low input gain and hence a lower volume level and another microphone with high input gain and hence a higher microphone volume. So, part of my project now is louder than the other. Luckily, Premiere Pro has a tool called Auto-Match to match all the audio levels to the average loudness. In order to access Auto-Match, you'll need to open Essential Sound Window, and then select all the audio tracks you want to match the audio levels and then click auto-match under dialogue and loudness. It'll take a few seconds for Pr to process the selected audios depending on the audio durations/numbers, so don't click anywhere while Pr is matching the audio levels. I came upon this in a recent project and decided to record a quick tutorial on how to quickly fix a simple synchronization issue. The issue came because one of the cameras was only recording audio on channel 2 and by default premiere only uses channel 1 for sync. So changing the sync method to "mix down" make it look at both channels. Hopefully this saves you some time! Need music for your project?
